Breaking: GeForce NOW Now Labels Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+ Games In-App
NVIDIA's cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, has rolled out a major upgrade that simplifies finding playable titles. New in-app labels now clearly mark games available through connected Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+ subscriptions. The feature, first teased at GDC, is live today across all supported devices.

Gamers can instantly see which titles from their existing subscriptions are streamable. This eliminates the guesswork and waiting time, delivering a seamless "just play" experience. The update comes amid growing competition in the cloud gaming space, where discovery remains a pain point.
"This is a game-changer for subscriber discovery," said Julia Chen, a cloud gaming analyst at TechTrends Research. "By integrating subscription labels directly into the library, NVIDIA is removing friction. Users no longer have to jump between apps to figure out what's available."

GeForce NOW lets members stream PC games from their own libraries, including titles from connected services. Since launch, the service has added support for multiple storefronts—Steam, Epic Games, and now Xbox Game Pass and Ubisoft+.
Earlier this year at GDC, NVIDIA previewed the labeling system. The goal: make cloud gaming feel as intuitive as local play. With millions of users, even small UI improvements can significantly impact engagement.
The new tags appear directly on each game's details page. A green Xbox Game Pass badge or a blue Ubisoft+ icon instantly tells players whether a title is included in their subscription. No more manual scanning of provider lists.
What This Means for Gamers
For existing subscribers, the update means faster decisions. A player logged into Game Pass can now browse GeForce NOW and immediately spot which titles are free to stream. The same applies to Ubisoft+ users.

For prospective members, the clarity could sway purchasing decisions. Research shows that confusing content availability is a top barrier to cloud gaming adoption. By surfacing what's playable, NVIDIA lowers that barrier.
"It's a smart retention play," added Chen. "When users see their subscriptions unlock cloud-ready games, the value of a GeForce NOW membership grows. This feature subtly reinforces why you should keep subscribing."
New Games and Skins Roll Out This Week
Beyond the label update, six new titles hit the cloud this week. Leading the lineup is Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard, a roguelite horde escape game built on the Vampire Survivors formula. It promises chaotic power-ups, screen-filling enemy waves, and unpredictable upgrade paths—all streamable at NVIDIA RTX quality.
GeForce NOW Premium members also get early access to the Thor Midgard Umber Skin in Marvel Rivals. The skin trades Thor's classic red cape for an umber-toned, battle-ready look. It's available starting today for those on the Ultimate plan.
Future Outlook
NVIDIA has hinted at expanding the label system to support more subscription services in the future. As cloud gaming becomes more crowded, ease of discovery will likely become a key differentiator.
For now, GeForce NOW users can enjoy a cleaner library with fewer barriers. The tag says it all: just play.
